We delivered an integrated combination of external Apollo Two-Piece Aluminium Battens and internal SAS System 200 and 205 Metal Ceilings. Together, these systems establish a calm architectural backdrop that supports both wayfinding and spatial organisation.
Externally, Apollo Two-Piece Aluminium Battens in a 50(d) × 50(w) profile, set out at 100mm centres, bring the warmth and visual weight of timber to the soffits while offering the stability, fire performance, and low-maintenance benefits of aluminium. Finished in Natural Ash, the battens provide a tactile, approachable aesthetic, while performing reliably in Caloundra’s coastal environment.
Colour plays a subtle but important role in the interior. A range of custom SAS System SAS 200 and 205 metal ceilings in various finishes allow individual areas such as reading spaces, meeting rooms, and circulation zones to be gently differentiated. These tonal shifts support intuitive wayfinding without disrupting the overall coherence of the space.
