Project Overview
Following the success of their Melbourne office, Canaccord Genuity once again partnered with Hot Black, MPA, and Linea Projects to bring their Sydney workplace vision to life. Located within the MLC Centre, this new fit-out reflects the premium standard of the Canaccord brand while delivering a refined, high-performance environment for their growing team.
Central to the design is our Apollo+ Aluminium Batten System, specified in a 50mm tube profile at 85mm centres and finished in Champagne Kinetic. Spanning 200 square metres across the fit-out, the battens bring a warm metallic tone that adds depth and sophistication to the interior. Acoustic backing delivers an NRC of 0.50, helping to maintain clarity in conversation while reducing ambient noise, an essential element in a busy financial services workplace.
The battens were installed with precision to ensure perfect alignment, creating a crisp, linear ceiling feature that draws the eye through client-facing spaces and internal meeting rooms. The soft shimmer of the Champagne Kinetic finish catches the light differently throughout the day, adding subtle movement and enhancing the sense of quality in every interaction.
By integrating high acoustic performance with an architectural statement, the Apollo+ system supports both functionality and aesthetic impact. The design ensures that the office remains calm and comfortable even during peak activity, allowing teams to focus while maintaining an inviting atmosphere for visiting clients.
This project is a testament to the strength of repeated collaboration. By building on a shared understanding of Canaccord’s brand values and design preferences, the team delivered a Sydney office that mirrors the quality and attention to detail of its Melbourne counterpart while introducing its own distinctive character. The result is a workplace that balances sophistication and performance, setting a new benchmark for corporate interiors.
